Once I got the Rx clip, I do seem to have a fog up problem with the new sunglasses. I’m hoping it was just some “out-gassing” of the heat mounted clip/lens assembly as the fogging seemed to be a light film that was easily removed with a mild soapy water and a lint-free cloth. I’l be trying them out again this weekend on the Breakfast ride.
The new Rx clip is on the way, hopefully it should arrive in the next day or so.
Over the weekend I saw “Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer”, and I liked it alot (more so than several recent super-hero movers like the latest Spider-Man and Superman movies.
Spoiler alert (little bitty one)

It opens the door for Silver Surfers movies as well.
Getting the optical prescription filled into the Rx clip for my new sunglasses has been a comedy of errors. First the lab screws up the prescription such that the left eye is blurry. So to expedite a fix, the optometrist sends the clip to a local lab, which proceeds to break the clip. They have insurance, so I’ll get reimbursed, but I have to order a new clip, so another week there and then get the prescription filled another few days. So it may be the end of June before I get the finished product.
Got out early this morning, just a little after 5:00AM, rode from Waukesha to Dousman and back, round trip ~30 miles.
got just a little over 85 miles in this weekend, in fact it was within a 24 hour period, I should have gone for the other 15 miles and made it a century.
now if the rain would stop I could get some riding in.
No riding this week, damn summer head cold…grrrrr….ah-Choooo!
Looking good for a Thursday night ride. The temp’s are cooler, but still very nice for riding.
